The average H1B worker in Kansas makes $150k.

So an American would make 200 and pay taxes on that.  Yikes

All of the Americans who are capable of earning that much already have jobs.

I’m pretty ignorant in the topic but what I read from what Donald trump our president said was these visas are used to bring in much cheaper skilled labor and freeze out Americans with comparable skills but who would demand higher wages and benefits while also enjoying the freedom to pursue other jobs that may compensate them for their skills at a higher wage.  Did I miss that?

I'm a globalist capitalist like Elon and as such I support open access to USA jobs to the best qualified and cheapest labor available. I'm a simple man with a simple profit motive.

100 years ago the Germans took all of the farm jobs in Kansas. We cannot let something like that happen again!

Also, like Elon, we are dissatisfied with the results of the American educational system and the American culture that fails to produce enough engineers to satisfy our shared National  goals of leading the world in technology and thereby similarly lead the world in application of the same for defense and commerce.

Pleasantly surprised that Trump seems to be arriving at the same conclusion (or for harboring those beliefs all along and playing Magas as fools)

I've worked with many American engineers who had previously worked at Tesla. The pay didn't justify what was asked of them. I actually heard a story of a Tesla intern who had been an intern so long he actually managed another intern.

Plus those ass whipping studs will become American citizens down the line and at least generate one more generation of ass whippers before they become lazy and entitled.
