Nuclear would dominate. I don’t think there is much that can be done with oil. We already have more than we need and it’s cheap AF.

Elon pimping solar this morning. This should be an interesting battle.

There will be no battle, Trump will do what Elon wants

Marco Rubio? Cmon man

Trump did this with the sole intent of eventually firing Little Marco.  I almost admire his dedication to being an bad person and wanting to humiliate people.

Big if true. Yuge.

Just say no to neocons/neolibs.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I haven't kept up with the Elon stuff, is he just the Kushner type floater that doesn't have an official position?

Likely will be just an advisor, no official government position.

I feel like I’m not a big fan of many of these appointments. Not that I’m surprised

You have a very strange upside opinion of Donald Trump given we have seen Donald Trump irl once already….

One of the main reasons Trump 1.0 wasn’t great was because he stocked his cabinet with neocons and beltway pubs, and really didn’t do anything to “drain the swamp,” which is what he ran on. He was decent ln warmongering/international relations, despite that.

The hope is/was that this time around perhaps he’d learned his lesson, and would actually do those things and not bring in a bunch of the same type of people; the John Bolton of the world. The early returns are mediocre at best.

Do I prefer it to the alternative, especially one that gained the endorsement of the Dick and Liz Cheney’s of the world? Yes.

Could Trump 2.0 also be a big nothing-burger or go horribly? Yes.

Time will tell.

I don't think we need time to say with a high probability it will go horribly.

It's perplexing because Trump really seems like a guy who is honest and does what he says he'll do, does a lot of self-reflection, and is also not easily influenced by people who flatter him.

Are we introducing titles of nobility in America? the Great Elon Musk, American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy? Trump's random capitalization of words is going to drive me nuts for at least another four years.

Also, is this a new cabinet department or something?

Watching #blueanon/#blueanongE fight against any semblance of trying to make our government more efficient is going to be glorious.
