It’s almost like there might not be a peaceful transition of power.  Who could have predicted this?

If you think the tweets are bad, find the video of him talking about it

I mean, isn't that what most suburbanites want? To get away from the poors and the others? They won't admit it. But it's really what they want.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It's possible to conduct safe in person voting.   Spread it out over several days.

Oh well, I'm sure if Trump wins in addition to the cities burning down the lawsuits will be in the 100's if not 1000's.

ProgFascists:  We accept the outcome of elections . . . well, not really, but we say that a lot

Yes Phil, I mean, nothing says "we accept this election" like a 3.5 year meltdown where you and the rest of the ProgFascist buds believe every conspiracy theory you can conjure up relevant to Trump and Russia.  Your demands to literally change a constitutional amendment that has stood for over 200 years, and your parties total reversal on immigration in a quest to create a perpetual super majority.

Good grief

Yeah, I don't think it's a good idea to make policy based on white people's fear of brown people, even a worse idea for the supposed leader of the country to brag about it.

Nothing says we don't fear brown people like bombing the crap out of them, overthrowing their governments, enlisting their countries into never ending wars, attempting to usher in theocratic dictatorships to control them. emboldening theocratic dictatorships with billions of dollars in cash to control them and deporting nearly 3 million of them.

How involved, really, is the federal government in affordable housing programs in the burbs, anyway? What does/did the program he's rolling back do? I would have thought most of these initiatives were done at the local level.

Also, yes. It's blatant dog whistling, or at the very least, blatant class warfare.

It is, with federal funds if done "right"
Quote
The 2015 Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule that the Trump administration dismantled required local governments to proactively ensure fair housing in order to receive federal housing funding. It was designed to give more teeth to the Fair Housing Act in combating segregation, and was praised by civil rights groups at the time. Conservative critics and the Trump administration opposed the parameters, saying they were unnecessarily laborious.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development announced a replacement policy last week that essentially leaves localities to self-certify that housing is affordable and free of discrimination — a significant scale-down of the Obama-era rule.

I don't think this particular program had gone much further than Westchester County north of NYC. I could be wrong though.
