We are now at the whatabout phase of the defense, pretty awesome!

First off LibDork.9, thanks for moving off the Prison's for Profit Mutual Fund portfolio page to remind us once again that you believe hypocrisy doesn't apply to LibDork Nation.

If you can get away with crimes why worry about a sentencing?

There is no possible way to support trump and not utilize whataboutism on the daily. It's literally impossible.

Just sad to see resident LibDorks and fake centrists supporting violations of the Logan Act (again).

There is no whataboutism dumbasses.   The executive branch is in charge of foreign policy.

You lost your mind when Flynn, the incoming NSA (part of the executive branch) met with Russians (who have 5k Nuclear Weapons).  Now you don’t care when a US Senator held secret meetings with the Iranians.   Meetings he had no intention of publicly disclosing.

Sedition:  Thy (latest) name is Chis McCarthy.

That someone has done something bad does not mean it's OK for someone else to do similarly bad things.

It's called Whataboutism

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism#Use_by_American_politicians

That's pretty calculating. For Trumpers like dax, I think it's more a case of "it's okay for someone to do something that offends you because someone else did something to offend me." This is much more important to them than good things vs. bad things or right vs. wrong. It's why Trumpers like dax who seem to be offended by the very existence of people like Obama, Hillary, etc. love it when Trump offends those they see as lovers of Obama, Hillary, etc. In fact, it seems to be the only real reason they vote for him.

Pfft.  Hillary Clinton (2 examples) was one of the primary catalysts behind the completely ridiculous, unnecessary, unapproved and unexplained overthrow of the Libyan government.    She along with Leon Panetta were 2 of the primary catalysts behind the US getting involved in the attempted overthrow of the Assad regime in Syria.  There isn’t enough server space to discuss those two cluster fucks of burn it down (or attempt to burn it down) and walk away foreign policy.

In this case McCarthy violated the Logan Act and the dumbass contradicted himself in trying to explain it.

I don't know anything about this, but a senator secretly meeting with Iran is pretty gross. There's a state department for a reason (even if the current one is doing a lot of harm to the country)

LOL you unabashedly supported an administration and a SOS who openly advocated and got the overthrow of one government and the attempted overthrow of another in the first term of that administration.  (On top of their outright facilitation of Central American thugs and wholly failed “reset”).

  Members of the executive branch acting on the behalf, authorization and order of the commander -in - chief cannot violate the Logan Act.

This LibDork Senator violated the Logan Act, there's no whataboutism here . . . dumbasses.

If not pushing for more new wars is "doing a lot of harm" than you have a point.

Yes, even with the bad current admin, I don't approve of rogue secret meetings. Sorry for agreeing with you and also staying principled.
