When I look at the ocean(s?) I immediately think of being alone in the middle of it at night and how scary it would be to see absolutely nothing in all directions.

Would be scary in daytime too probably

I am not a fan of being in freshwater. I've had a few instances that terrified me a bit. Oceans, never.

portuguese man o'war lives there and they're so weird. creeps me out. but let's be honest here. there are many different types of ocean, not all oceans are the same.

anyone who has a problem with this ocean below is just weird to me

when you think about the ocean, think about how steve Irwin spent a lifetime wrestling with brackish water's biggest and deadliest killing machines without incident and a day he spent peacefully snorkeling in blue water ended with a spear though the heart by an ocean creature smaller than a standard American chicken fried steak.

one time I absent mindedly neti-potted with unboiled mhk tapwater and then worked myself into a frenzy about my impending death. I eventually calmed my nerves by looking up the clorination tests from the MHK water report and comparing it to the LD50 for those brain eating 'mebe bastards.
