Kodi ppl, I assume that you can pause these streams, right? Including live sports? also, how often do you find an add on no longer works. Some youtubes I just watched made it sound like some come and go and some are always there. It sounds like the right add ons would allow someone to do this crazy clam cord cutting without even having the Vue, HBO Now, etc.

This has been helpful. I don't need to make a decision until April, so I'm not in a hurry. My main concern is the ability to watch K-State sports and the Royals live. That's it. I have never DVRed a game and watched it later and I never will. I don't have DVR now with my cable and don't intend to do that either. It sounds like Sling gives the ability to do what I want, but perhaps with a few issues.
Just set up kodi with a few add ons. Wow, there is so much available. Sports, tv, movies, etc.Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
(yes I know I can I find out online) Can Sling log-ins get you full access to Fox Sports Go? Not really worried, as I can use good ol mom and pops TWC log-in in case, but curious.
With SlingTV, would you ever feel confident enough to throw a watch party or something?
I was very reluctant when that chick I married said we should cut the cord - uverse kept going up and I guess having 3 wireless boxes and HBO and Showtime and all that nonsense got pricey, considering we don't watch a ton of TV.On the real, I haven't even noticed the different with Vue + Fire Stick + PS4. Don't be afraid to do it.
I've done it with KStateHD.tv.
OTA stream is way better you weirdos
