It needs to be an event space where they can have concerts, movies, plays, and wedding receptions. But you and I both know Drinx is gonna buy it up and turn it into DrinXXX.

I just have a hard time imagining Manhattan supporting some single screen indie theater or a music venue that holds 800 with any regularity. It would have to be mostly used as event space

I don't think it would hold that many. Liberty hall is like 400 or maybe less.

But you're probably right. Lawrence concerts draw heavily from joco/topeka being 30 minutes away.

MHK really needs an indie theater tho

Well, yeah. Aggie Central Station hosted some when it existed. Now the business that has moved into it is planning to do the same. The bar I work at has had several impromptu wedding receptions at it as well.

Going to a wedding reception/staying at Bluemont.  Pretty close and a place to stay.

Random but hilarious! I'm watching 'Unsealed: Conspiracy Files' on Netflix! They showed footage of this game in 2010 to support government control of weather by releasing chemicals into the air!! LOL

SB is right about Dive guy.  And CCQ was clearly in a transcendent state for the last 5 minutes or so of that game.
