I like that they have to put "a tribute to dokken" because it isn't obvious like Lez Zeppelin or something

They were opening for a Motley Crue tribute band.   I wasn’t a Dokken fan but they weren’t bad.

Billy Idol won't be opening for Journey, medical issues.  But Toto isn't a bad sub.  March 16 at T-Mobile. :excited:

Welp I never got around to buying tickets and work is an absolute beeyotch today so it seems unlikely I'll be able to make it over to KC tonight   :frown:

Confirmed. Toto was basically the house band for the Thriller album.

Gaslight Anthem just announced a tour. KC 9/23. I don't think I'll be able to go. Big Brian Fallon fan though.

Morrison isn’t bad. Plenty of of near outdoor stuff to do if you’ve got a rental car. Sounds like a great way to spend the day, imo. Pro tip, red rocks is a mess getting in and out. Showing up a little early and tailgating is almost a must if you don’t plan on getting a limo/taxi.

thanks, my research tells me it’s a bit of a pain getting in/out of but I don’t mind getting there a couple hours early and hanging around the park

I agree with Asava - That's totally doable.  I've probably mentioned it before, but they let you bring food into Red Rocks.  That was a pro-tip I wished I knew on my first couple of shows there.
