Considering buying Rage tix for March of next year. Had them in the cart and didn't pull the trigger. They are completely non transferrable. I'm having a hard time spending $300 on tix for a concert a year away. I could be dead by then.

I have a hard time spending $300 tix on anything. Like you could see 10 pretty great $30 shows that would all probably be a better experience if you wanted. (but maybe not)

Oh, I agree here. I never saw Rage when I was younger so I would just like to see them once. Its about $300 for a pair including fees so not too terrible. I'm glad big bands try and lock out scalpers, but this is def one of the drawbacks.

If you're dead, you won't miss the three hondo.  I say pull the trigger.

I bought Rage tix in January 2020 for about 300. GA floor of the United Center.

The show is finally supposed to happen this July.

Turnpike troubadours are coming to sandstone this summer
Pretty excited for them, I also really like their opener Morgan Wade.

I cannot remember who put me on to Morgan, but my wife got me her album on vinyl for Valentines and it has been spinning a lot for me.

Just bought Awolnation tix for October. Its at Uptown in KC. I'm not sure I've ever been to a concert there. Can someone give me the inside info? It was all GA. I don't want like front row or anything but do I have to show up like super early to have a decent spot? There are a couple of pre bands that I've never heard of playing.

I've only been once for a non-GA show so I don't know when to show up.  There is a small bar area with tables once you get in where you could hang out at if you get there early.  You could drink there and keep an eye on the traffic, deciding when to go towards the stage.

FYI to Uptown Theater guests. We went to the show last night and walked in right before the opener began. GA was getting pretty full and I have no idea how those in reserved seats on the ground floor can see the stage. Balcony looked cool.

Saw AJR at the Starlight last night.  I really liked the venue - it was pretty easy to get in/out and a good size.  AJR puts on a good show and probably would be fun with a festival crowd.  They had some interactive screens on stage that were cool.  There were a lot of kids out there and I can see where it was a great show for them if you can let the occasional language go.

I saw AJR at Hangout Fest a few years back.  Can confirm it was a really great show they put on in that environment.

Took the kids to Imagine Dragons last night. About as expected. One surprise was the Macklemore guy that was on before. He was delightful. I don't want to listen to his music at all or anything, but I enjoyed his show. The crowd was completely bonkers. People love them some Imagine Dragons. Lots of kids of course, but I saw some old rocker dudes, a bunch of Trump 2024 shirts and even a guy in a confederate flag hat!!!! It was quite the audience.
