Games-  clear preference for historical context and landmarks as opposed to actual game content/opponent quality.  The 2002 USC game is better than several of those and 2012 OU is better than the UT game etc.

i think historical ones are what you remember the most long term, so i'm ok with some/most of the list. i mean, we've had some great b burners w/ iowa state but you won't find any game with them in my top 10,

the obvious with this insert is that the mercury knows snyder is retiring. will miss bill a lot. i think he's pretty snarky behind the scenes and i've always appreciated that about him.

Mueller over Andrew Shull I will listen to, both had bizarre regressions in their production senior years

starting to look like kk doesn't really want to "talk about this" and really just wants to spout off his "takes". i mean that's fine but the thread title is certainly misleading.

I can't argue with much of that at all.  They did a good job.

I completely agree with that 1998 NU win being the biggest win.  There is no doubt in my mind.  I wept for joy and pride at that game, and every person around me did the same.  I have never, ever, experienced anything like that at a sporting event before or after.  I'll remember that for the rest of my days.

Ty Zimmerman over Jon McGraw is absurd.

McGraw was HM all big 12 as a JR.

Zimmerman was 1st team all big 12 twice and 2nd/3rd team all American twice. At least HM all big 12 all 4 years.

I'd put several guys ahead of Mueller, specifically Nile Wire.  But, I am emotionally attached to Nile Wiren.

i'm not arguing for one over the other but mcgraw was drafted in the 2nd round and had a ten year nfl career.

I enjoyed that game because of not only the game, but the entire season and week leading up to it.  The entire season was geared towards beating NU - we dngaf about basically anyone else.

i had a friend/roommate postpone his graduation from college so he could stick around for that fall season. everybody just knew we had a shot at something special/national championship/etc.

No doubt who the better pro was, but I thought this was about who was better while playing at K-State. :dunno:

Damn Impressive Career for Coach Snyder. You're a lucky fanbase for sure.

i honestly have no idea what this is about. just adding a data point. does the mercury offer specifics on why they picked who they picked? i really liked zimmerman.
