KCSP skews their numbers so much. Most of their higher ratings were do to the Royals in the afternoon. When baseball isn't on, WHB is king.

News to me, but I also rarely listen to 810. He's soaking up the compliments and well wishes on Twitter, openly expressing his interest in the The Drive's opening. Made it clear it wasn't his choice. I'm guessing contract wasn't renewed last week, but no idea if anything juicy happened.

lol. He's an awful blowhard too. It has to be an unrenewed contract if he's clamoring for the drive opening, because everyone signs that non-compete. I couldn't do 810 Varsity games after I left for like a whole year.

He had some night show that was on when there was nothing going on, and one time he had a whole show dedicated to saying Royals fans should boycott the team and force them to move. The team has never done anything for KC blah blah blah don't give them another dollar blah blah blah. We went to the world series and lost in Game 7 4 months later.

Nobody. I did play-by-play for HS teams and the JUCO. Sold advertising during the day. Conservative AM radio during the day with a local morning show in the morning.

Yup, heard them talking about it on Lazlo last week. He did sound sincere about not wanting to leave KC for anything else, but yeah, a chance to be that guy in your home town, and that hometown is Chicago, hard to say no to the #3 market.

I enjoyed the chemistry he had with Carrington and believe that was the key to their success. I will miss their NBA talk in the spring.

Somewhat related to the Garden City broadcasting convo. I was randomly watching Wheel of Fortune with my kids on Monday night and Jesse Bernal was on wheel, he did fairly well.
