Truth, it was like qtf, sure you don't have any more TOs but I like my chances with 2:40 and no TOs than 1:55 and 1 TO.

Not calling the time out when Clemson had the ball on 4th down and allowing them to run 40 seconds off the clock is absolutely one of the dumbest thing I've ever seen a coach do.

Yep. Timeouts will always save more time if you take them while the other team is trying to run clock. Madden taught all of us this lesson when we were 12.

It is easy to be frustrated with the "just happy to be here" KSU folks but then I look over to Ames and see them aw shucks-ing over a 7-6 record in what was supposed to be their greatest season ever...

The thing is, this 7-6 season was one of their greatest seasons ever.

I’ll be surprised if even Adrian Turnover Martinez finds a way to commit two more mind blowing turnovers than Purdy left ISU with last night.

That game was a microcosm of Purdy's entire career.

So close... and yet.

So, we're 6 years into Campbell being at ISU. He's averaging 7 wins per year (high of 9, low of 3) for a .552 winning percentage. 2 bowl wins in 6 seasons, 0 conference championships.

I'll be honest, I thought he was winning at a higher rate than that. The next few years will be interesting.

I have found a word that contains FL and IA and used the power of AI to come up with an alliterative name for the competition.  I submit to the court:

FLuvIAl Frenzy

Had to look up this weird name. Fluvia 75mg Capsule is an antiviral medicine used to treat and prevent influenza (flu) as well as, swine flu (H1N1 virus). :horrorsurprise:
