LK doesn't fit into any hope/change/dreams scenario.

Not . . . A . . . ONE

If Barnett sounds as if he’s still passionate about college football, it’s because he is. At 68, he’s still interested in a return to coaching and even expressed interest in the vacancy at Kansas created when ex-Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis was fired this season.

LOL at creating a user name with ksu in it to post this twice. Do you think we're rough ridin' stupid? Try again with the KU user name and actually post with some balls.

Welcome to gE, ilander. Don't let these other guys get to you.

Despite your perception of our beloved KSU, many people around the country still view this as a bottom tier job. It mostly has to do with no one sustaining success here during the nearly 100 seasons of football not coached by Snyder.

Again, welcome to the blog.

Isn't he like a qb whisperer?  And also isn't he employed?

O'Brien, he got that rep from working with Brady and Matt Cassel after Brady got hurt. Is he employed? Yeah, but not for long; the Texans are a disaster, absolutely horrible.

What happened to the Matt Wells buzz?   Is it because he lost both his coordinators and went with a P5 retread with Heuple as OC?  They're 4-3 this year, but 2 losses are by 10 at Utah and 14 at Washington.  I could see Currie thinking "Matt had buzz last year, lost his QB this year and still beat Boise.  While everyone is focused on Fuente and Herman, let's lock in Wells."
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

Instead of waiting 5-10 years with 2-3 HC's in between, why don't we just promote CK to HC now.

Has his head recovered from our offense? That might impact my thoughts on this.

This is delightful post; as a mater of fact, it's probably one of his best posts.  ;)

CK as HC?  It depends on how much he's contributing to the cluster-eff that is Pubener.
