What? If he ever leaves Georgia and wants to coach somewhere he would be selected to be the head coach at all but about half a dozen power 5 schools. OC, lol.

Well, he's going to get fired, so he is leaving Georgia soon, but I do agree with you, he's not going to be an OC he'll have a P5 HC job.

No kidding. Would prefer some new or old familiarity w/the B12 and recruiting territory in a new HC, but for a guy who could be considered in Currie's wheel house, would take Richt as HC.

The Bowling Green coach was an assistant at Baylor, AtM, and Arizona.

He lost his two Co-OCs from last year to Tulsa to work under former Baylor OC Philip Montgomery.  One is 33 year old Mike Mattox.  He is originally from Holton and has coached at both Butler and Coffeyville.  The other is Sterlin Gilbert, a former West Texas HS coach of the year who went with Babers to Eastern Illinois, where he coached Jimmy Garapalo.  I'd be pretty optimistic Dino could bring them with him to form a strong set of recruiters.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

If any K-State fan would be disappointed in hiring Richt they would be complete idiots. JMHO.

lol you idiots.  I didn't say he would be our OC and you'd have to be pretty rough ridin' stupid to not take him as OC.  Look at his resume as an OC and tell me you wouldn't take him in a heart beat.

Wow, those are some hard years, he's not aging well. Anyway as far as being a power 5 head coach he's a billion years old. The two hottest coaching candidates are 20 years younger and PJ Fleck is half his age.

This rough ridin' guy. The point is why are you talking about him as an OC at all, if he leaves UGA he might get the USC job.

MIR, it's worse than that. He's not the AD--he's actually the President of Youngstown State.

He might not be a good candididate but it's certainly not age related.  Old dudes are running college football.  The average age of the coaches of the ten best teams right now is 57.

Yeah none of them were in their 60s when they took their jobs. He's old, you don't replace a 76 year old with a guy in his 60s. This is very obvious, I feel like you are arguing for the sake of arguing.

I disagree that age is  relevant to our next hire.  I would hire the crap out of 64 year old Mack Brown. I'd also like Fuente or Herman too.
