Not impossible, but highly unlikely.

This is nearly as dumb as steffy not understanding 5 years to play 4. While technically possible the player would have to be willing to go along and no player would be willing to go along with that in this situation.

That they were very cautious with 'zooka seems to tip off that they expect Delton back soon enough and wanted to at almost any cost not eff up anyone else's redshirt and cause another day of steffy madness on gE.

That isn't true at all, you completely made that up. A mild meniscus tear can go for a bit without an operation, not recommended but it's definitely possible. Most meniscus tears come with a scope and a couple of weeks of rest.
