Did you not even read the parts about Gary Goldman or Ian Holm?

Saw that the OP wondered about "rising" on trains. Have done that several times. Just be careful. Get up and rise, despite what the tracks do, and shower, etc. You will survive, as I have after many train trips.

So want to hear a semi semi K-State related train story?!? Okay hold on to your britches here, this is exciting.

Starting on January 1st of 2016 all trains are supposed to be equipped with PTC(Positive Train Control) which is a safeguard to prevent trains from running signals or going to fast etc etc. Starting on Jan 1st if trains are not equipped with PTC they will not be allowed to go over 30 mph. Well this is not going to happen for a variety of reasons, still way to many kinks in the system.

What does Carl Ice (BNSF CEO and Famed Benefactor of the Carl and Carol Ice Family Video Board) do? He sends OBAMA(actually the NTSB or something) a sternly worded letter saying that he will not let his railroad break the Law and Its gonna really suck in February when power plants start running out of coal and grandma ain't got no heat due to the gridlock on the rail lines.

24-hour broPAK in Vancouver next weekend.  Taking the train up Saturday morning.  $54 each.  The times coming back Sunday sucked, so we're flying back.  To be continued in the credit card thread.

Yeah, that's why it was critical to get that whole Sergio Vancouver preview out in chat last night.

I'll periscope again here in a minute.

Rode the train from KC to St. Louis last week, and was reminded of how tricky it is to take a piss on a moving train.

It was alright.  The bad person canadian customs guy that concluded the train ride kind of sour'd the experience.
