A very near miss on a goEMAW encounter. Also, Sam Adams' "Merry Mischief" Gingerbread Stout is now available. Very curious to see how this one turns out, even though most Sam Adams is crap.Makes sense, i mean it is the middle of October.Middle of October, Christmas beers/ egg nog being sold in liquor stores and all octoberfests are sold out. Yep.

Free State's "Winterfest" Winter IPA is a solid IPA, but should not be a winter seasonal. Just does nothing for me as far as winter beers go.

I had it while preparing breakfast before the Cats v. KU game last weekend. Good chocolaty bitterness with a slight spice. the more i drink this beer the more amazed i am by it.Drinking it right now. One of the lighter stouts I've had. Almost seems like more of a cola than a stout. Has some cola taste, with a "red-hot" after taste. Very good, will enjoy the last 5.

And you know that they are going to quit selling winter crap on like December 15th

I stay away from AB products at least. Shock Top is getting the most annoying. It gets so much floor/shelf space for all its brands and they are all very mediocre.
