Well exactly.  That is why he is 3rd on the depth chart.  It doesn't help that he tightens up during games because of nerves which makes his inconsistency even worse.

Maybe the other two will have issues with that as well.  We just don't know yet.

It's kind of a silly thing to say he's better in practice because he's not nervous. I mean, most people find it easier to function when not facing 50,000 sets of scrutinizing eyes.

Klein was the smartest rough ridin' QB of all time. Minus listening to whatever coach called that behind the back pass. Beasley is probably right there too.

He also never seemed to audible that much. I feel like QB's that audible and read the defense are pretty smart. It doesn't matter if your smart or not tho, if you're the best rough ridin' athlete on the field.

Unfortunately the Rose can't do it himself. After him, there are some juco scrubs and a bunch of walk-on's. (no offense to juco scrubs and walk-on's).

Considering that we appear to have no quality defense tackle besides Geary, and considering that we appear to have 5-6 decent linebackers, perhaps we experiment with a 3-4.  It worked for Baylor last year (just need Geary to be a Billings, I guess (no raping, though)).

You have got to be one stupid mother rough rider to try to run a 3-4 defense without sure fire NFL d-line men (in Baylor's case the rapey'r the better). That nose guard better be a top 5 pick dline men that demands a double team on every god damn play too.
