I wasn't hating. I was only pointing out that some people claim that TLBL would not have had the numbers he had with Jake. Those same people seem to miss the possibility that Jake would have never had the numbers he had without TLBL. He was also pretty Iowaee, but that has been covered extensively. Good or bad.

I understand. I was more referring to the general tone of lots of posters when Waters' name is mentioned.

Also it wasn't acknowledged but Watertz is brilliant.

Also I don't want to get into Waters v. Sams again but I think people are hesitant to have 2013 Waters with this year's team. It is the Waters people who brought this up but it is disingenuous to tout the 2014 version of Waters when making this comparo, everyone would be fine with 2014 Waters if that Ertz will be, but he won't be that. Also 2013 Waters didn't suck because of the run game, he had Hubert who had a 1000 yard season and had a ypc of 5.3 yards. He sucked because he was unconfident and at times acted like he didn't want the football in his hands.

I'm done beating a dead horse. I mean, you said he was one of the highest recruited juco qb's of all time and that's just not true. Waters was rated higher, had offers from Penn State, Texas, etc. Marshall was nice, but he was barely a top 50 juco recruit. He had high interest in K-State, but jumped ship after Waters. It would have made no sense to have 2 run first QB's on the roster anyway. Especially since our best player was a receiver. However, yes MIR, I'm a complete dumbass, hack, clown, etc. for not buying into the hype of Nick Marshall being one of the most highly touted Juco QB's OF ALL TIME!

Also, yes, he was recruited highly out of HS as an athlete and played DB at Georgia. Not sure what that has to do with his JUCO recruitment.

It doesn't show on his Rivals page, but he did. It came late. When he was getting ready to announce it was between us, Penn State, NC State, and Texas. Keep up.

Extreme Tidbit Alert - Waters was a good QB but now plays for the Seahawks. Sams transferred.

Can somebody get me an update on Delton? And also this Skylar Thompson kid committed for next year? Is Delton the QB of the future or what? he seemed pretty small to me at the spring game.

To his defense, he's too busy following little league softball, volleyball, horse racing, nascar, rowing, soccer, equestrian, etc. to have the real facts about every sport. He spreads himself too thin at times.
