I think sams would have won the ndsu game, he should have played more vs Texas. Other than that, waters was the better option and could have been great if he stayed healthy.

i hated waters because i knew that he was incapable of ever winning the big game and that kstate was not going to win a big12 championship with him as our qb.

Beasley, Bishop, Ell, hell even FreEMAW, and CK will always be remembered for these reasons. In 10 years, no one but super fans will remember who Jake was, unless the pic where you could see his dick through his pants resurfaces.

I find the lack of faith in a guy called Mr. Touchdown to be a little puzzling.

I have been saying this.

I mean I've seen where Bazooka Joe may have worked his way back in the mix, hell, Stan Parrish had open tryouts, it could be time to bring that back.

So ah, what position you play in high school kid, and where?

I played running back, second string for Otis-Bison, sir!

Well, you're a quarterback at Kansas State now son.

The reason I brought it up is because people are shitting on ertz like they did to waters before he's even played, and its partially because he's a white boy from Iowa, which is total crap. Waters was very talented, Lockett wouldn't have broken records without him. Sorry for having an independent opinion, carry on with your group think.

There's plenty of fine reasons to hate Watertz*, including being a white iowan.  As Ron Prince once said about victories, I'll never begrudge a reason.

*did I just invent this?

Guys, I just don't think Ertz has "it". I hope I'm wrong. I like to win big important games and that usually requires a QB with "it".

Good grief. He definitely helped, but let's move on. TLBL's numbers blew up under Waters (Yes, I understand Harper leaving helped), but to get back on point, I don't think any of these guys have "it", SD.

I'm still surprised about all the Waters hate.  I appreciate his play and wish him great things the rest of his life.

Also, SAMs was in the system for quite sometime. Like, he was Klein's backup and then Snyder had Klein call up Waters to wrangle him in. Aka... "Recruited over!"

The fact we were willing to take Nick Marshall and Jake is all you really need to know about the confidence the staff had in Sams.

Nick Marshall was one of the most heavily recruited juco quarterbacks of all time
 https://rivals.yahoo.com/Auburn/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3216/0

I won't call you a dumbass that can't read or follow logic, because I don't want to hurt your feelings but neither of those links disproves what i typed. Now show me the juco QBs like ever that had offers as good as Auburn, Texas, K-State, and Texas Tech. I bet you get less than 5. I know the #1 QB didn't have offers close to that good.

I wasn't hating. I was only pointing out that some people claim that TLBL would not have had the numbers he had with Jake. Those same people seem to miss the possibility that Jake would have never had the numbers he had without TLBL. He was also pretty Iowaee, but that has been covered extensively. Good or bad.
