Do you have voice command on your new LG?

Don’t know. I have the voice thing on my cable remote. Don’t use it. I don’t subscribe to any of that stuff except the peacock that comes free with cable, and I’ve only watched that through the cable box.

The new one is 6 inches wider than my current and def a little wider than I wanted, but it’ll be on a very minimalist rolling stand so I can kind of push/tilt it a few inches to not impede nba jam or the path to my grill as needed.

OLED is totally the way to go.  Been enjoying mine for a year and a half now and I'll never go back.

Let us know how well it works out.  Sounds like a nice TV.

Two interesting TV tidbits:

1. I bought a 32" Westinghouse (lol I thought they only made toasters or something) last week for $99.  :sdeek:

2. We still own the 42" Sony plasma tv we bought in 2007 for $1400. And it works great.

Just a couple TV tidbits.

I can't think of any application for a 32" TV in today's world. Unless it is going in the dashboard of your van build

Good god, man. This is America in the year 2023. No person should be saddled with a 32-inch TV. Not even in the sunroom.

I will say it's not for everyone. People with bad eyesight and/or small penises might need to go bigger.

I don't even need this but it's so cheap
Put that in my bedroom last month. Even bought the dumb warranty because it was so cheap. Works like a champ.

They sell video wall controllers pretty cheap on Temu.  I'm thinking of getting one, trying it on my 4 work monitors to see how well it works and then buying a half dozen or so monitors for my wall in office.

I was at best buy today because I need to get my TV mounted at the new place and I had been thinking about getting a sound bar. I ended up buying this one and they are gonna mount my TV and the soundbar on Tuesday.  :excited:

I recently purchased a 65 inch Roku Pro Mini-Led QLED with a 120Mhz refresh rate.

I was about to send it back because I wasn't pleased with the amount of motion blur using the Spectrum streaming app, I have a pretty awesome Spectrum bundle price wise.

I am trialing YouTube TV and now I am likely going to keep the TV.  The Spectrum app sucks on higher end TV's, it's probably not helped by the way Spectrum does their streaming vs how YouTube does their streaming.

Not concerned about the privacy issues, because all the other smart platforms are just as bad if not worse, and it certainly isn't going to get any better using YouTubeTV . . . it simply is what it is.

The Mini-LED QLED is good, but it's not OLED good, but it was on sale at a good price so I am just rolling with it for now. I prefer the Roku platform for its simplicity, and all the other Roku TV's available now are 60Hz native refresh rates until you get into the new line of high end Sharp's.

The only problem I have with YouTubeTV is that it sucks up some serious data.  My internet plan was 1.25TB per month and I was never coming close to using it.  Then I switched from DirecTV Stream to YouTubeTV and started using almost 2TB a month. I had to switch to unlimited data.
