I would try to get all my money back from LG

yeah, I have little interest in that effort. They will come out and look at it in several weeks for several hundred dollars though!  TVs are basically free at this point and it isn't worth it, especially since its an apparent issue with their brand. I just don't want to toss it, but also don't want to dump it on anyone.

What's wrong with disclosing the issue and selling as is, where is, with no express or implied warranties? No doubt there are those who are willing to enter into a clear-eyed transaction in exchange for a lower price.

This is a bit off topic but I have a detached garage I would like to be able to put a smart TV out there. Has anyone had luck with a wifi booster? Do they actually work? My wifi signal dies just right at the detached structure.

Do you have any lines running from the house to the garage? Could simply add an ethernet cable to that and add a satellite to your main router in the garage. Otherwise, I have a friend who has had success with a mesh system for his back house, but it's only about 30 feet away from the main house.
Nice, I'll have to look into that, hadn't heard of that yet.

i’ve got a better version of that and it does look like art but really I never use that
How thick is yours and what is it?

We (*my wife) mostly don't want it to look like a TV when not in use. Really like the thin mount on the Frame.

it’s maybe as thick as an iphone?
iirc the art is downloaded and comes in different packs based on time period and the software just cycles through it

I have an LG CX, and it is by far the best TV I have ever owned. It sucks that you are having problems with yours. :(

I got TP-Link a few years ago and like them.

The updated TP-Link X20 is an entry model that can connect more devices, supports WPA3 security and also does WiFi 6. Two units for $155.

Im glad i’m not the only one who has lost a tv to a child.  Mine threw his damn cup into it, and then insisted he wanted to watch a show.

Why are my 4K channels dark as eff and how do I fix it? It's so annoying. I have this new Samsung 4k smart TV but wherever I want to watch a sporting event in 4k it's twice as dark as the HD broadcast. This thing pops up that says HDR then the crap dims. I set it to it's lightest setting but it's still dark.

I'm guessing it's a Samsung.  What size is it, and did you hang it on a wall?

I think it's 54"

I want some slim-ish wall mount speakers but am not fighting that battle right now. Here's what I want:
