I used the 50HOLIDAY at the Papa last night and got a large John's original. But they made TWO of them and made me take the second since "it was already made".  That's like 68 percentage points off!

I liked when Pyramid Pizza was in Manhattan. I enjoyed it because I enjoy honey with my pizza slices.
they had a buffet on sundays with .25 cent draws.  heaven.

i carried out two pizzas (1 cheese, 1 tomato, and an order of knots) from this place last night.  it was better than any pizza i've had in the past 12 months.  one unique thing on their menu, potato salad.  i have never seen potato salad on a pizza place menu so i bought some, it was decent.

From where?

hyvee papa murphys style take-n-bake.

yellow, green, AND red bell peppers
'shrooms
onion
black olives
and i added jalopenos
eff you are right I forgot the olives. But once you add Jalepenos that's not a Supreme anymore.
i think schwan man's personal deep dish supreme pizzas only have sausage, pepperoni, onion and bell peppers too!

i can overlook the addition of shrooms to a supreme but really, i don't think it has to go any further than that

I sent an email to Deadspin and GQ's Drew Magary, who also happens to be a Chopped winner.  In today's edition of his weekly Q&A, he answered the question!  The following is my (well, our) question, followed by his answer:

reading between the lines, he's saying you can add a shitload of toppings TO a supreme pizza, which dlew had defined as sausage, pepperoni, onions, and bell peppers.  those 4 toppings are the baseline "supreme" pizza.  drew's point is that you can add crap to the supreme, like black olives, or roasted chicken, or burnt ends, etc. 

baseline supreme, as defined by drew magary and dlew12, is sausage, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers.


one thing dlew12's email to drew magary did was specifically mention "bell" peppers vs others.  we all know that bell peppers are what go into a supreme. but we really haven't touched acceptable types of onions.  imo- and this is going to be divisive, for sure, only white onions should be used in a supreme.  really hate red onions.  they can go straight to hell.

i always just check how each place defines their supreme.

minsky's does it so weird- "combo" = pepperoni, american sausage, hamburger (doesn't bug me, i consider this crappy unseasoned sausage), green peppers, onions- all BELOW the cheese.  but then the sons of bitches add black olives on top of the cheese.  my facepalming GOD, why?

but wait because then they have a "jumbo combo" = pepperoni, american and italian sausage, hamburger, green peppers, mushrooms, onions- all BELOW the cheese.  +black olives on top of the cheese.  the jumbo combo costs $1 more on each size than the combo.  lol at the perceived value of mushrooms.  not worth anything, the extra dollar is for the italian sausage obvs.  sorry mushroom lovers, lol.  losers, lol.

i just get the combo w/o olives tires

papa john's, "the works" = Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, spicy Italian sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and black olives.

their canadian bacon is weird, it looks like miniature worms.  not a bad line up though, perfect white onions, just delete the mushrooms and olive tires.

i thought we were pizza spirit bros all this time but it has become apparent that i was wrong.  mushrooms always occupy one of my two toppings from the papa 2.
