making the serious eats foolproof pan cast iron pizza tonight.   hope it works out since I didn't find out until this morning that the amount of yeast in the recipe is wrong.    :bang:

how long has it been rising? shouldnt be a problem. the yeast will still multiply and do it's thing. it just wont rise as quickly.

are you a yeastie?  i have a serious question about yeast.

hit me up bro. i have cooked or brewed with yeast probably a double digit amount of times and also i have a platinum membership to wikipedia.

okay i performed some clinical research and the answer is it depends on your goals and flavor preferences

too much yeast it will rise very quickly and not develop alot of yeasty biproduct flavors.

too little yeast and it will rise very slowly and develop a bunch of yeasty biproduct flavors.

i've been thinking about a new pizza recipe for tonight

instead of pizza dough i will slices of bread (toasted). instead of pizza sauce i will use mayonnaise. instead of pizza cheese i will use lettuce. and for toppings instead of pep and sausage i will use bacon and tomatoes. I'm going to put another slice of bread on top in the spirit of papa murphs authentic chicago stuffed za.

i'll let you guys know how great this pizza is.

I have to be honest that sounds a lot like a Chipotle burrito to me.

I'm not surprised that a person trying to make a pizza with a tortilla wouldn't "get it"

Diorio's NYC style slices in Durango, Co.

nomnomnom

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
