Her-mine-e

I'm seeing like "Her-my-oh-knee" online. Can someone (a giant nerd) tell me which is correct?

Finished Earnhardt Nation. It was pretty amaze. Those old racer guys were badasses. really enjoyed it without knowing a thing about race car driving.  Started Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat to up my cooking skills. Pretty decent so far.

No I can't do British accents well enough. Also whenever there is a song I sing it in the tune of Gilligan's Island or some other TV theme song. I developed this method while reading the hobbit and it works p well

Her-my-oh-knee is correct.

I started out mispronouncing it to my kid and got pwn3d talking to Harry Potter nerds irl and then had to convince my son that this was not a new character, but he got over it pretty quick.

I always do a crazy accent for Hagrid and it is pretty fun.

You're missing a syllable and frankly it's embarrassing that you can't tell

When I read the books I said it differently every time in my head and when I heard the movie I was way off

i'm glad you're consistent. Hermione is the daughter of King Menelaus & Helen of Troy. what a family of weird names!

My only complaint about names so far in HP & TSS is that Hedwig/Hagrid are too similar and Mrs Norris is a really dumb name for a cat.

And nerds, please don't be like "oh but when you find out why Mrs. Norris is named that in book 4 its sooooo awesome" because its still a dumb cat name. Cats should be named whiskers or boots or cat bosco etc.
