It is concerning, and is something that I would hope is under a very watchful eye of Currie. To say that it's all on Weber, which is basically what's beiing said with 'he either recruited very poorly, created a poor environment or both'. While I won't disagree there's blame for many, I do agree with Dave that this is more on these players. These aren't 10-12-14 year old kids. They are 18+ young adults. They certainly understand right from wrong and what behavoir is appropriate or not. And if they don't, that's on their parents, not the coach.Maybe after getting here they decided they didn't like Weber and his style. But it sure didn't hurt Foster last year, instead he absolutely flourished. I didn't hear complaints coming from players about the coaching staff, unlike what was heard with Frank and ended with him deciding to leave. But even with whatever the players under Frank felt they were going thru, that didn't keep them from playing as hard as they could and beling team players. You can't say as much for many on this year's team, and that's on them. They control the effort they put out and the attitude they choose to have towards the team and KSU. I think with all that took place this past season, it's better that all of those four are no longer a part of the team. And if there's more with the same attitude then they need to go elsewhere too. Who I feell the worse for is Gip and Nino and basically what was a wasted senior year for them. And remember, they said this wasn't Weber's fault but fell soley on their teammates. I never cared for the Weber hire, as mention way to many times. He wouldn't have even been on my top 50 list as candidates. But I like the class he has coming in and hope for great success with them, even though it may mean having Weber as the coach for many years to come. I wished we'd have jumped on Howland, but that ship has sailed. Weber needs to show something positive this year, or I would hope Currie would decide it best to part ways and look for a better replacement.But I'm not sure I get the 'should be unacceptable' line. I don't think anybody thinks this is a good thing having players come and leave like this, but things do sometimes happen. Certainly doesn't mean anyone believes it's acceptable, regardless where they want to put the blame. And also, if it does happen, what are anyone of us on this board really going to do about it? Make another 'mean' post?I just want everyone that wants to leave to be gone and let the remaining and incoming have a chance to become a real team. I'm just ready to move forward.
