It was on the board in that same timeframe, but noone could confirm, deny, or hint good or bad? Seems strange.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I badly wanted to confirm at the time....but my source wouldn't let me until it was official. Clutts can back me up on this.

I don't think there's anything laughable about it. I think it speaks to the immaturity of kids today, and the selfishness and impatience of these players. This group enjoyed uncommon success early, and then decided that they were special and became delusional about how good they really were. That led to an attitude of entitlement. It's too bad that coach Weber couldn't have held their hands more often and guide them through elementary school ... which was the level of maturity for most of these guys. And to your list of recruits - Neville didn't qualify academically and Jack lost in a numbers game ... those things happen. But Foster and Nigel were pouters. Jevon will be better off with a new team and a new start. I still think he'll develop into a good player. I wish him the best. But the other two ... well, I'm kind of glad they're gone. Let's get some guys on the court who care about the team more than themselves.
oscar's tenure had been like eating a big plate of spicy Indian food. The conference championship felt good when it happened, but you just knew the fire shits where coming and they burned as much as you expected.
