Basically every college freshman talks about how the biggest transition from HS to college is 1) speed/physicality of the game 2) the effort it takes to be successful. This really shouldn't be all that controversial.

Not sure I've ever heard 2. A third would be the increase in competition. Don't really want to get into a player quote cliche anecdote competition.

I mean, what do you expect them to say? The free shoes or having to remember to wear the right color jersey? All the food options at the training table buffet?

I like how he acts like Marcus Foster is the only one that ever stands around on offense. Um, that's like everybody, probably on more than half of our possessions.

This is an interesting article. Wish oscar did a better job getting everyones mind right. But somethings are out of your control. Hard to tell were the fault belongs. We will not have closer on this year on till next. If our current troubles carry over it can go completely on the coaching staff.

I don't think Nino and Marcus like each other, but I am just spit balling. That could have caused a lot of issues.

Exactly. Why move away from the ball if you're going to be doubled. Your the best shooter on the team and your coach refuses to call any screens to get you open. Also, never runs any type of two man game to exploit the double team and get your best post scoring option a cleaner shot.

You coming back, Wesley?

"Yeah, I'm definitely coming back next year," the sophomore forward replied, "so there's no other options for me. I chose K-State for four years, so I guess this is where I want to be."

That's the kind of enthusiasm we need!

I enjoy oscar having a difficult time getting his players to buy in for an entire season, and basically Frank had a buy in or quit moment mid season and went to the elite 8.

p.s. This isn’t a “frank is great” post, it’s just to highlight how ineffective oscar was.
