OB wants to ruin anything that could be fun, but he's right.  K-State is going to finish like 7th every year and go to the Rochester Bowl when they get lucky.  Maybe we should just add Arkansas and Notre Dame and go back to the old way.  Of course if we added ND, they'd do anything possible to keep them out of our division--probably go East-West, or just straight up Texas Division and Tard Division.

3) Kansas and Kansas State. The Orangebloods.com report last Wednesday that the Pac-10 tried to sub out Oklahoma State for Kansas late in the process has made K-State a touch nervous that KU might have been trying to make a move without Kansas' other big state school.

This one should probably heal quickly because nothing ever came of it (the other Big 12 schools targeted by the Pac-10 didn't feel comfortable with it). But if there's one thing learned from this Big 12 Missile Crisis it's that desperation breeds unexpected activity.

the big 12 should just let colorado leave after 1 year for the same penalty that 2 years notice would be so we can move on right away.

Really a lot of affirmation and validation going on in Tardville about the Pac-10 wanting ku over OSU . . . Ben's even tossing around words like, "the fact . . ."  

Even more amusing is Ben talking about how it's "killing the collective psyche of powerespect nation" (the fact that Pac-10 wanted ku) . . . when in reality, nobody on this board bought for one second that ku and K-State were really working together.   We were all just laughing at how butt hurt Tardville was thinking that ku and K-State were tied together and how butt hurt Tardville was that ku wasn't the first choice all along, rather than Plan C at best, and probably more like Plan D or Plan E.   The entire "ku to the Pac 10" hinged completely on Texas and OU going to the Pac 10.
