Does anyone know if UT (and OU for that matter) really wants a B12 championship game? Seems like winning it doesn't really help their chances of getting to the NC. They may want to stay at 10 teams?

Well, it doesn't, obviously. But the 4 remaining North schools--who were always the ones with the most complaints--have now realized there's a good chance they'll really be screwed if Texas bolts.

Let's face it:  the Big 12, even with its issues, has actually been a great deal for the K-States and Iowa States of the world.

I've had several several parents of UT recruits/players email me that they'll be VERY disappointed if Pac-16 doesn't happen.

Kind of the "LeBron should pick his next coach" argument, only with 17 year olds who will never be LeBron.
