Delany needs to be careful. The SEC, ACC, and Big 12 are all allied or planning an alliance in some for, and as the conspiracy goes, the three have blocked together to shut him down.
I want to know what the rumors if the bowl alliance are. I've heard a few rumors that the three might sign with some bowls to supply teams, but not assign permenant conferences to bowls. I have heard any specifics or anything, just a few friends with OU/OSU connections and a mention or two on Tulsa radio.
Well, there has been talk between the ACC and the Big 12 about a scheduling alliance, obviously, and according to a tweet about an hour ago from Chuck Carlton, Swofford called Bowlsby about getting a GOR set up for the ACC, so we have been actively helping them keep it together.
Based on the article that was released today, if the Big Ten took Maryland and was sniffing at Big 12 and SEC schools, all three conferences have incentive to shut the Big Ten down, which is probably why we've been openly working with the SEC and ACC.
