I want FSU and Clemson, but they will fight tooth and nail for the Big 12 to expand to 14 and bring two more in that area.  So if that is the case, I want FSU, Clemson, G-Tech, and Miami.  A solid footprint in the SE would be huge for the Big 12.

I'm meh on Duke and would be OK with NC State or Louisville, although I love how the Big 12 is continually giving the silent eff You to the Cards.

If we ever went to 16, I would want it to be NC State and/or Louisville.  If SEC takes NC State, then I would trade them with Duke or Pitt (this is probably where I prefer Duke more).

When I hear "What about BYU and Boise" I do one of these  .  The thought of spanning 3 timezones is pretty laughable and I don't see it happening just so we can justify ski trips during basketball season.

I still entertain a scenario where Delaney tries to bully ND into the big 10 (eliminating the ACC as a major fb conference, pushing for a champs only playoff) and ND gives him the finger and joins the Big 12 as a full member.

I just  that the Big XII leadership, staff and governance, remembers that this is all about football revenue. I keep reading silly distractions about Duke, Wake Forest, North Carolina, and other such nonsense. The real prizes (targets) out there are: Florida State, Clemson, Notre Dame, V-Tech, and then to a lesser extent other possibilities (e.g. Miami, Georgia Tech, BYU).  Football revenue drives the bus. Don't get distracted.

I really think that Miami is the King Pin to bring the others (FSU, CU & GT).  This would be a dream come true.  If we need 16, maybe VT and Louisville.  That would be six teams from the southeast.  We would in fact be the strongest conference of the big four.
