Better than the current matchups vs. TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Baylor, etc. I'd love to be playing Indiana, Michigan St, Ohio St, UNC, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, etc, etc. over the crap we have now in the Big 12.
This isn't really true.
UT, OSU, Baylor, OU, KSU, West Virginia and Iowa State are good basketball programs. Currently, and historically. That's 70% of the games you play in conference.
Indiana, Michigan St, Ohio St, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin are less than 50% of the teams, and way less than 50% of the games, because in the Big 10 you wouldn't play teams from the other division more than once a year, if that. Those are GREAT teams/programs, but you have to swim through a ton of crap teams as well.
On the crap side, the Big 12 only has TCU and Tech....and Tech will be back to relevance before Rutgers or Nebraska get there. Bank on it.
This is merely a case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence...basketball in the Big 10 would be WORSE night in and night out for KU than it would be in the Big 12. I am supremely confident in that statement.
