Do the SEC and/or the Big Ten have exit penalties?  You never hear about it.  Like they would just laugh in the face of whoever wanted to leave and then go back to printing money is probably it.

Yes (albeit some Big 12 haters try and claim there's loopholes), one of them is the grant-of-rights.   If someone tries to leave, the Big 12 Conference holds the broadcast rights on all of their home games until the end of the current contract which is over a decade away.

This is rough ridin' huge, IMO.  It's an instant "shut the eff up" to the talking heads who claim all is well.

ISU is fine. They are public school with AAU status and a larger stadium than us. Ditching WVU, BU and TCU for FSU, Clemson and GT would be smart. They have a little pod down there which would make things easier.

I think it's critical to be the next move as a conference. Even if it's just one add, we need to show a sign of life, because otherwise we'll be taking Memphis and looking like big rough ridin' losers.
