I've blocked DudeofWV but folks keep telling me he says ISU is one of the schools slowing down Big12 expansion - absolutely not true.

 

he clarified saying ISU is one of the schools voting against going to 12 right now but they want FSU as #11 and there is a consensus among all schools to add FSU as #11

talking about the scenario where FSU joins to make an 11 team conf.  i guess if ND joins to make it 12 (won't happen) you could include ND in that.  my point was that an 11 team league w/ no divisions and no conf champion makes the Big 12 more likely to get 2 teams in the playoff.

the inescapable truth, regardless of what massive stud outsiders (neines and bowlsby) try to lift us up, is this.  our conference will always be led/driven by idiots at schools that can't see the forest through the trees.  there is nothing that can fix the dumb inside of these assclowns.

I think the Big 12 is the only conference that could handle a 16 team conference. Nothing to do with money or anything, but there are 8 left from the former Big 12 with no hard ties to any new members. We could add 6 more and not sever major traditions.

The SEC members would lose a lot by essentially making 2 separate conferences with little cross divisional games.

SEC obviously hates 14.  They can't undo the did, so only other option is to go to 16.

I don't think the SEC hates 14.  I think they like 16.  and the big 12 is dumb enough to believe their "14 was a mistake" bullshit so the SEC can take their time picking their next teams without the bumbling big 12 competing with them for teams.

You think Florida and Bama fans are excited about traveling to bum eff Columbia to watch a game in that dump?  I don't.  Missouri doesn't want to be in the East division almost as much as powers of Florida and Bama don't want them there.
