Would I be completely stupid for thinking that with the additions of TCU and WVU and loss of MU and Texas A and M. That the Big 12 will receive better strength of schedule numbers and the SEC will see a decrease? I could be looking at this the wrong way, but it seems the Big 12 benefit from this alignment where as the SEC will lose some luster with a declining MU and AandM just being AandM.
Subtraction by addition for SEC and Big 12 staying the same or moving up slightly?
no, the SEC will be playing 9 conference games, so adding aTm and MU replaces a garbage OOC most likely.
It's about a wash for the Big 12.
Good point.
If this format was implemented this year and we win out, Big 12 would get 3 teams this year in...and KSU isn't THAT good this year. I don't know.
Instead of hearing about all how the SEC is the best, I wouldn't mind seeing them get three teams in and play another conferences best three and see how that turns out. At least the rest of the country would have a chance to shut them up on the field as opposed to having the SEC's best team beat some other conferences best team and the whole conference getting its dick sucked.
I'm not saying the SEC wouldn't win all three games they got, but at the same point, it would be nice to have the opportunity to knock em down a peg on the field.
Of course Achilles is going to win 1v1....
