i bet they recommit to the big12 within the next month and then the big12 adds louisville.
The guy that's been feeding me stuff said that if we add Louisville and WVU and grant ten years of rights, they'll stay. Not all of them will want to, but the majority will be placated to the point where the votes will lean towards staying.
Here's my problems with this. SEC needs a #14. Let's face it, they aren't adding MU for tradition. They are the "best" #14 they can get. If they can't get them the next best #14 is WVU. So in my opinion MU cannot stay without WVU going.
The question isn't whether or not the SEC wants Missouri at this point. It's whether or not they'll actually pull the trigger and go. There's apparently a lot of infighting on their side, and from what I understand, the Chairman of the BoC and Deaton don't want to go.
If Missouri chooses to stay, and we quickly move to invite Louisville, it will be very interesting where the SEC moves for #14.
