so, like, just spit balling here....the conference members could vote by simple majority to dissolve..... and then reconstitute itself under new rules...like, say, with no 3rd tier rights. #suckittexas
ND makes thirteen and mizzou makes 14 doesn't that bother anyone else? The big ten is the key here IMO

PeteThamelNYT Pete ThamelPac-12 decision came down Scott meeting with Texas and realizing there was no way the conference could be one of equals. So they passed.
PeteThamelNYT Pete ThamelThe Pac-12 Presidents were also happy to bring some sanity back to the college landscape, which this should do.

At this point, I will be upset if the B12 stays together and we don't get a loser B12 school/BE mashup.

There is no chance of any mass exodus at this point. It seems obvious to me that no conference is going to 16. The Pac 12 isn't and the Big Ten isn't and the SEC won't force them to do so either, there is simply no reason. The SEC and ACC are left with an akward number of teams and have diluted their dollars and product. As I see it currently the 1 SEC spot is the only spot left. I bet the UPs of the SEC are pissed and wish they could give A&M back, now they are going to take someone else they don't really want live WVU.

I'm sure they're interested. Just not sure that any good candidates are willing to listen.
