Is there some benefit that we have a smart AD padding his resume at the same time we're going through conference realignment--will Currie manage to do something miraculous as part of his effort to get to a bigger athletic dept?
Honestly, wtf is he doing in Amsterdam?

The New most desirable Big 12 Reply --------------------------------------------------------------------------------what i'm hearing is that the original Big 8 members have been doing a lot behind the scenes with OU taking the lead. A&M is out and being replace with full time members Louisville, Cincinnati, and TCU. Texas will go independent in football only. BYU is joining us in football only.

I'll take anything that keeps us from getting put in the MWC and in some sort of AQ. Being in an AQ that will actually last would be a wet dream. Dream is the operative word.
What does it mean that BYU would join in football only? Where the eff would their other sports play?
