makes absolutely zero sense.  So OU’s master plan was to get UT out of a conference so OU could win conference championships (which it does already w/ UT in the conf) and then make substantially less tv money when we negotiate the tier 1 contract?  Not only substantially less money from the “new big 12” but astronomically less money than what the pac-12 would offer.  If this were jeopardy, I’d take “things that are completely asinine, for $200 please Alex”.

We will be in an AQ conference, and it will last up until there is no longer a BCS. I'm 100% positive of that.
