Pete ThamelFolks around the Big East are STEAMED over Swofford mentioning playing the ACC Tournament in MSG. Just irate.
I think we all need to keep in mind that a year ago, we were slobbering at the mouths at the thought of getting this thread to 100 pages. Now look at us. We're going to hit 500 by tomorrow afternoon. This is something that we accomplished together, as a team, as a unit. We're all winners here. Good job, everyone. It's been a great ride.
No way we lose a spot to Baylor ISU or TCU. Right? RIGHT????

If we don't make the cut is there really an advantage to putting money into kstate football?
MattJonesCFB Matt Jones If you assume no ACC team leaves conference, SEC needs to grab, West Va, Missouri and someone else quickly...or they will get the scraps
MattJonesCFB Matt Jones Best scenario for SEC..get West Va, Mizzou and Kansas..leaves K St, Iowa St, Baylor for Big 10..and UL, Cincy, S. Fla, TCU hope for last bidHAHAHAHAHAHA

The SEC takes UL and WVU to get to 16. The big 10 finally convinces ND to join and takes MU with them. Then they look around and see no other viable options so it's either KU and ISU at that point or poach a couple of ACC teams. They poach the ACC taking Maryland and Virginia. Then the ACC is looking around for two more viable replacements and it's either some combo of Cincy, S. Florida, Baylor, ISU, TCU and BYU or the sweet package deal of KU and K-State. Cincy is shittier than K-State in athletics and academics so they are out TCU and Baylor are shitty small religious schools so they are out. S. Florida is out cause they are a shitty school in a state the ACC already has a big footprint in. ISU offers nothing except an AAU rating so they are out. BYU is way too far away so they are out. The ACC would love to have blue blood KU in basketball and K-State also adds to the basketball picture so it's a no brainer here. They take KU and K-State to get back to 16. ACC just upped their buyout by $10MM, doubt anyone is leaving.I wouldn't count on any team turning down the big 10, no matter what the buyout is. You all can sit back and think the sky is falling but I'm still feeling confident we will end up in one of the super conferences when I look at who the options would be in our place.shouldn't your white trash ass be camped out at b-dubs? so cool and edgy. Validated enough today??
