Big 10 gets ND, need 3 AAU schools to get to 16, only AAU schools left assuming ACC schools are locked in ACC: KU, Mizzou, ISU, and Rutgers.  Hard to believe its not KU, Mizzou, and Rutgers.  I'd bet SEC stays at 14, they aren't just going to add KSU and Louisville for the sake of 16.

well there are some reports that the acc might be full and they seem to have no interest in looking west and honestly i mean why the eff would the sec take a kstate/ku package. they're better than that. we are mumped. absolutely mumped. our only chance was texas not going pac and pac decided that ku kstate was good enough and we podded up w/ oklahomas.

Why would the ACC want to be a 16-team conference with two teams out in the middle of nowhere vs. a 14-team conference with everyone on the East Coast?

I included WVU in the initial SEC count. They would have one more spot. Doubt they'd take UL.

The one thing the Big East has going for it is the Non Football schools to make a great basketball league. We're mumped as a football conference now no matter where we go so we may as well go play bball with the Georgetowns and Villanovas of the world for a few years.

This is going to be a slow death. K-State, KU and Mizzou will end up in the Big East essentially replacing Pitt, Cuse and WV. The TV numbers will probably be around 10-15 mil per football team per the link below, and it will still be a solid basketball conference that can probably entice Notre Dame to stay for awhile.

Over the next 5 years of course it will slowly be picked apart and we'll be left holding the bag, but until then we'll see some solid basketball. This seems like a better solution then the mutant Big East/Big 12/MW leftover conference that will suck balls from day one and will struggle to maintain AQ status.

MU and KU will be in the big 10. Big East will die. This is how minor league football leagues starts.

If their is a playoff, schools are going to have to start paying their coaches $4-5-$6 million a year minimum.   Because no one is going to want to coach without huge money and huge guaranteed contracts.

Also, like someone else said schools like Northwestern and Vandy are not going to be part of pay for play and such.

Speaking of ND and BYU, if the superconferences happen, nobody is going to play them, they'll have to join a conference.
