If K-State is not in one of the four super conferences it's over, TV revenue will be minimal. No one will pay to watch the minor league of college football.yeah

The Left Behind Conference will be a top basketball conference and its football champion would be top 10. However, no traditional football powerhouse. Conference members should have to make open commitments to football. Facilities/stadium upgrades, etc. Some network would shell out bucks, I think. Lots of media markets, cincy, kc, louisville, houston, dallas/fort worth. I think scheduling with change. LB Conference teams will want games against big boys (I'm not talking Duke, Wake, Cuse or Wash. State) for big paydays and exposure.

Sure it wont be SEC level but it would be one hell of a scrappy conference. KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting

Instead a very scrappy conference that just barely makes AQ status right behind top 4 super conferences. It would be like a a tier 1.5 conference

There will be two separate polls: Major League top 25 and Minor League top 25. Believe me there will be a complete separation in football, the super conferences are going to exist outside of the NCAA. They will have different recruiting rules, qualifying rules, and possibly will pay players.
good post ew12 teams or so, 7 spotsI would love to see people's rankings
Quote from: ednksu on September 18, 2011, 04:23:22 PMgood post ew12 teams or so, 7 spotsI would love to see people's rankings Gawd damn it that was brought up several pages ago and none of you ass hats even looked at it. K-State will be fighting with TCU, Baylor, ISU, Cincy, S. Florida, KU, BYU and Louisville for the last couple of spots. I don't see Baylor, ISU, TCU, Cincy or South Florida getting in. I think we will be a package deal with KU and end up in either the ACC or SEC.
What spots are available and who is left to fill them? Pac is full. SEC has 2 spots if you think WVU is in.ACC has 2 spots. big 10 has 3 spots, essentially. Right?Teams left:Big XII-KSUKUISUBaylorMUBig East-CinciULUconnRutgersUSFTCU?Indy-BYUThese teams to fight over 7 spots.
TCU will go somewhere that doesn't already have a Texas in.
What makes you think a league that doesn't get on tv will have the recruitment power to get players good enough to be a top 10 team?
