the ND/UT superconference can't be filled with ND/UT/ really strong teams from top to bottom.  their conference schedule will cannibalize the conference every year without some patsies peppered across it.   

k-state has proven throughout the years that we can out patsy anyone, at any time. despite 13-1ing everyone, the wildcats play the perfect patsy.

Why would we need a local network to carry games broadcast on NBC? Also, I'm pretty sure the Longhorn Network will have to pay some money to the school that is playing Texas. Otherwise, nobody would agree to let them broadcast their games.

Honestly, I think the K-State brand has grown stronger over the past 5 years, and with our new leadership at the helm, we will land in a conference that will allow us to compete for all the marbles...

It's incredible how likable KANSAS STATE is nationally. When I am in Kansas, I hate KANSAS STATE, I hate KANSAS STATE fans, and I root for them to lose across all sports (except volleyball). But whenever I leave the area, it's always amazing how I slowly but surely start liking the Cats again.

I think, like you said, it has something to do with the KANSAS STATE brand. Either that, or bandwagon effect.

in a second.  I would order the LHN and adopt all longhorn sports which we don't field a team in.  Would probably mean we'd get broadcasts of KSU v. UT baseball, which we never get in KC and maybe the monster equestrian showdown we have with them (The Battle for the Barn) every year.
