It is bound to happen. They clearly have proven they are above being a mid-major when it comes to BB. That team btw is going to be very, very good next year. An Elite 8 or a Final Four is not outside the realm of possibility.
As I mentioned earlier, this makes way more sense than most expansion/realignment rumors.Wichita St, Tulsa, Memphis, SMU, Houston, and Tulane seems like a pretty natural grouping of schools

If we are talking smelly conf members, ou has to be top of the list right? Honestly tcu probably wouldn't even make the list because no one would remember they are in the conf
I am surprised this has not been posted yet:"New North Carolina bill would require UNC, NC State to exit ACC if state is boycotted again"http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/19142531
I'm sure if the Big 12 had a chance to get UNC & NC State they'd drop the ball like usual.

That wouldn't even be in play but that's not what makes this story important to the Big 12. UNC would go to the Big 10, no earthly clue as to where NCSU would go, SEC I guess, they're certainly more attractive than Missouri.
Yeah, no way this passes. But, in the event that it did pass, the ACC wouldn't boycott NC, they would go through a thorough selection process that just happens to not choose NC. See, no boycott.
Obviously I love this thread, but even I will admit that it might as well be locked until we get closer to the current Big 12 GOR ending.
