They wouldn't. ESPN is pretty great at telling what time the game is that day in your exact region.

Well because I'm guessing most of the country is completely unaware that Arizona spends half of the year in one time zone and the other half in a completely different time zone? This is a completely unique occurrence in this country. Seems pretty simple as to why this could be confusing to the unaware.

If you don't take CSU, please take Hawaii.  They bring absolutely nothing to the MWC.  They're dead weight.  Also, would you allow them to join all sports?  They currently play olympic sports in the Big West, I think.

Hawaii doesn't do DST, Mike. Which is about as compelling a reason for membership in the big12 as whatever csu has.

That wouldn't even be in play but that's not what makes this story important to the Big 12. UNC would go to the Big 10, no earthly clue as to where NCSU would go, SEC I guess, they're certainly more attractive than Missouri.

Business perspective, North Carolina is a much larger state with more industry. Sports perspective, I think the football programs are historically relatively even, the basketball programs aren't and NCSU fans certainly have higher expectations which to me makes them better.

Oklahoma is probably close to 3(ish) behind the top schools (Alabama, Florida).  Same with KU.

I'd be shocked if goes up the next round, but I don't think it'll burst, there still a lot of ferver in college athletics. I'll go with a solid semi hard. Good to show, ready for action but needing some outside help (a la carte/breaking up cable) to really work it back into good fighting shape.

In all seriousness I think they (ESPN) bought a little too high. Live tv is still a huge advertising juggernaught. People will still watch the games, they ust have a lot of (hate to say it) dead weight to process over. I bet ESPN can't wait to renegotiate down the Longhorn Network, and everyone will have to settle for a little less come contract time. Everyone will get antsy, but the market will adjust, and hopefully all expansion talk will die down. Money fueled expansion, having either the same or slightly less will temper it.
