How could current Pac 12 teams bring more value to any other conference than they can to their current conference?

in a similar way to how WVU is more valuable in the Big12 than it was in the Big East.  The AZ schools would increase Big 12 visibility on the west coast for all games.  The biggest increase would likely be from at least five or six 9 pm CST kickoffs that would allow the Big 12 to have a 4 window Saturday with only 1 Big 12 game.

I get your point, but the links or tweets or whatever the hell were posted earlier said that west coast people don't even want to watch football with their own teams in it anymore.  I doubt they'd want to watch Big 12 football any more.

Only thing that would suck is it would likely be an add on, meaning you pay for Netflix then pay for the B12 3rd tier content. If you're a sports fan then you'd already be buying cable so  Netflix wouldn't seem like a service you'd particularly want.

Cable gives me a DVR and more than enough entertainment content and I can still go to redbox  , not that Netflix doesn't have good content as well.

That's a good point about the DVR. It does suck having to catch all of the Netflix programming as it airs.

Classic games, series such as: "Rivalries of the Big XII", "History of the Big XII", "Great Coaches of the Big XII", a cribs style show of athletic complexes and stadiums at each of the schools.

Tons of stuff that would do well on Netflix imo.

Given I don't know anything about how this stuff works, but Nexflix pulls from an existing file for their shows.  Is it completely different technology to pause live stream events in HD quality compared to how they pull the video now?  I'd be interested if they'd give the user the ability to pause live streaming content DVR style and keep the same quality.

He's right. If you're watching a bunch of sports you aren't likely to be watching a bunch of Netflix and gainfully employed. I watch a crap ton of sports, I want access to evening, so I have Directv.

I have to laugh every time someone mentions streaming as some sort of viable option. There's a reason none of the major leagues have signed a Netflix or Chromecast deal and you people think the Big 12 can make it work
