Would TCU to the Big East help or hurt the possiblility of "It's Patterson 2"?
Greg Swaim ?@JonVoy: @GSwaim RUMOR: The Big East is about to issue invites to Kansas -Oklahoma-Oklahoma State-Missouri-TCU.This dude is a recruiting guru and radio talk show host in Oklahoma...He IS pretty connected and might know something...but where the hell would THIS be coming from?

Crap about this.
I think this means we get to SECede with A&M.
Defcon 4. Rumors from the east that the Big East is fueling it's missles. Can't link because on my phone. Name drops include Oklahoma, Okie Lite, Kansas, Missouri, and TCU. Could be upgraded to Defcon 3 shortly. Stand by.
Or we stay put, stick with TX, and watch a few nice schools come into the conf to fill it back up.
If all those schools bolt, wouldn't we get one hell of a payday?

So if this were to happen tomorrow we'd have 1 year in the 10 team big 12? Doesn't seem likely.
Don't see any of the Big 12 schools being the least bit interested in the Big East at this juncture
So the Big East went from on the chopping block in the first go round to a major player and making aggressive bids in the aftermath? This doesn't really pass the smell test at all, considering everyone thought that when the SEC raided the ACC for teams the ACC in turn would raid the Big East.I'm sure this rumor has already produced multiple banners for the folks in larry though.
