For football? Why would they? Four divisions in a 16 or 18 team conference would have to be based on competitive balance given the divisions couldn't even be used for a basis for who makes the championship game.

It's all moot, likely won't be divisions anyway.

BYU released a statement condemning it, and said it was someone who was not a student, but sitting in the student section.  However, there have been many bigotry allegations against BYU over the years.  That's part of the reason I want Utah in the conference (Team Utah).

Gonna be real tough for the usual subjects to not only try to discredit 5 different people giving independent accounts, while justifying the BYU spokesman contradicting himself within the same sentence.

Was he misquoted when he said this is the first time they heard of "this concern," then goes on to state how they addressed the concern when it happened in 2021?

I'm not going to check the roster of all of BYUs soccer opponents in 2021, but it's pretty safe to say they didn't play a team with five black soccer players.

Given the source this seems pretty official, there had been reports (or at least assumptions) that this exclusive window had already expired.  I guess it is possible they were all just agreeing to extend it.
