Yes his people and LeBron are to blame. How is oscar supposed to compete with Lebron?

oscar just needs to make sure he doesn't get anymore players good enough to be invited to LeBron's camp.

enjoyed that
I hope Kellis stays with us for a long, long time. He has come so far from his "passing the day with powerespect people" salad days.

the addition of "his people" to the Marcus Foster bashing is a subtle yet important part of the attack for these clowns.  oscar recruited Marcus so he is obviously responsible for any alleged "attitude problems" Marcus has.  However, the middle age white guy side hears "his people" and instantly pictures uncles/pastors (all black guys in track suits or yellow 3 piece suits) and they think "how could Coach Weber ever know about these bad men" and oscar gets a free pass for being a disaster at coaching his own players.

I admire oscar for his incredibly effective methods of blaming his players and "their people" for his failures.  I mean, he is a goddam magician that any politician would admire.

If he recruited a player or not is stupid. He should mange all the attitudes on his team regardless of how they got there.

Jay Heidrick is staking his basketball reporting reputation on his opinion that this is a anomaly and that oscar will be very successful at Kstate.  This website is predicting the opposite.

Really, except for a giant pak head across the torso and/or back, it's unwise to get any ksu-related tattoos.

Kellis! http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/big-12/kansas-state/k-stated/article10746332.html

Quote from: Kellis
But jacking up threes against TCU sent him back to the bench. Weber wants Foster to be a complete player, like he was a year ago when he went for dunks and mid-range shots, instead of the three-point specialist he is trying to be.

We have no one else on the team that can shoot 3s consistently other than maybe Tre, Foster is shooting 38% beyond the arc, and Weber is upset that Foster is shooting too many 3s.

Can't wait for Weber's "Fool's Gold" speech later in the year.

So, no more threes.  What the eff is this offense doing to create something else?

whoa, missed this. He has been shooting 3's at a higher rate this year, but he's also been getting to the line more.

3FGA% 2014: 47.8%; 2015: 59%
FTR 2014: 26.1; 2015: 37.8

Point distro 2014: 16%FT, 38%2FG, 46%3FG
Point distro 2015: 20%FT, 28%2FG, 52%3FG

Given that he shot about 40% last year and we lost a couple decent shooters from 3, I think the change is entirely reasonable.

i'd like to see him shoot more threes and fewer twos.  twos only if they are necessary to set up future threes.

I understand that they both play the same position, but how many minutes this season have Tre and Marcus been on the court at the same time? Just spitballing here, but having multiple 3FG threats playing together could work.  :dunno:

Getting to the free throw line. That's all we've got.

We've had such incredible production from the point guard and small forward positions. I just don't know whose minutes he would take.

I don't think Foster has ever been told to take fewer threes, just better ones. And taking some 2s to set up 3s and getting to the free throw line will make him better, he's not Brady Heslip. He did have a better Ortg last year shooting more 2s.
