the addition of "his people" to the Marcus Foster bashing is a subtle yet important part of the attack for these clowns.  oscar recruited Marcus so he is obviously responsible for any alleged "attitude problems" Marcus has.  However, the middle age white guy side hears "his people" and instantly pictures uncles/pastors (all black guys in track suits or yellow 3 piece suits) and they think "how could Coach Weber ever know about these bad men" and oscar gets a free pass for being a disaster at coaching his own players.

I admire oscar for his incredibly effective methods of blaming his players and "their people" for his failures.  I mean, he is a goddam magician that any politician would admire.

It's incredible that such a giant dork is so good at controlling the narrative.

It's the audience he's been working with.  A sizeable portion of white midwesternia really loves oscar Weber the man.  They see hardworking and honest and humble.  A virtuous man.  Not some arrogant overly talented jerk.  He puts them at ease because he's not better than them.  He is them.  Mediocre and unassuming.  Somebody they want to be friends and neighbors with.    It's rough ridin' disgusting.

He has this on lock

Also, lots of oscar supporters probably like to make lame excuses when things don't go their way.

For the portion of fanbases that truly love oscar the man, scapegoating young black males is not unfamiliar.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

Good basketball is entertaining, but things like this can be too.  Are we going to get good basketball out of whoever Currie could bring in to replace oscar?  Will we continue to get threads like this if oscar stays?

Extend oscar.

This card can only be played once, right? It's like some Pokemon power card if I understand Pokemon, which I don't, but like once played it loses its power and the next time it bounces back on oscar.

I would guess a lot of people from a lot of fanbases would say that. Lots of folks still think Drew can't coach. They're idiots, but still.

In the question posed above, oscar would blame the dog and its outside handlers.

The not so strange thing about this story line is how lazy it is by our best reporters.  It's accepted as fact but has anyone actually asked oscar and pressed him on what is really going on.  It just makes easy copy and fans lap it up without critical analysis

I would love D Scott to awkwardly ask oscar some real tough questions, and oscar go off on the media.

You know your local sports journos are bad when Curtis Kitchen is getting interviewed about KSU sports.

610 sports K-State insider Curtis Kitchen
810 sports K-State insider Jay Heidrick

I guarantee 90%+ of K-State fans don't know who either of these losers is.

His ppl is a street agent ref.  Poorly done.   The guy wants to play a position that better fits hi size at the next level.  oscar is basically the opposite of coaches that want their players to play at the next level.

if k-state media members have any amount of real EMAW in them, they would ask the questions that will push Bruth closer and closer to the edge.

Was oscar trying to pull a Massa Seff on Marcus and it went horribly wrong?

His people are no one besides the friends/relatives most college basketball players have.  It's a rough ridin' red herring
